“This is my first breadmaker and I am well pleased with it. Baking couldn’t be much simpler or less messy. It takes just 5 or 10 minutes to measure and load the ingredients, then you just program and leave it; the machine does everything else. Another plus: it is easy to clean after use. As other reviewers point out, the paddle frequently has to be extricated but it’s not a big issue.
So far I’ve made basic white, French, wholemeal and harvest grain loaves. Every one has been a success and I look forward to trying other recipes.”

“After reading many breadmaker reviews I decided to go for the Morphy Richards.
I had an old panasonic machine, but had never been too happy with the results, so I was a bit dubious about the new machine. However it is brilliant! from the very first loaf it has produced excellent bread with great taste!
The machine is compact and smart (looks great in my new kitchen!) It comes with everything you need and a good recipe collection. Careful measuring is necessary, but the cup and spoons make this easy to do.
The bread can be made in 2 sizes and different crust colors. I haven’t tried other breads yet, but I am sure it will be successful! great value and excellent design.
The only negative is the paddle sometimes get stuck in the loaf, but is easily removed with a spoon or knife.”

“I thought I just didn’t get on with breadmakers as despite much work my previous one always turned out bread that was a bit heavy and only good for toast. Not any more!
The bread is light and tasty and there are plenty of programs to choose from.
Although it is slightly larger than my last (very old) machine it doesn’t take up too much space on the worktop, and the design is stylish.
The clever kneading blade doesn’t leave a great big hole in the loaf, either. I also love that you can use the timer setting to wake up to fresh bread!
